Hi, I’m Daniel Anugerah, a 20-year-old software engineer from Banjarmasin, Indonesia. I currently work remotely from my hometown.
Personal Introduction
When I’m not coding, you might find me reading books (Jared Diamond is my favorite author) or update my Neovim Configuration, I use Neovim BTW on Linux device, and sometimes also i play Heart Of Iron IV. I believe that life is a balance of work and play, and these activities keep me inspired and grounded.
My Journey into Software Engineering
My journey started in high school during the COVID-19 pandemic. It began with Discrete Math, followed by coding in C++ and Python. Things intensified when I took a gap year decision. About 6 months after that, I landed my first job as a part-time software engineer, helping edutech and finance startups build their products.
Challenges and Milestones
Learning challenging concepts or technologies was tough, but overcoming these obstacles taught me resilience and the importance of continuous learning. A milestone I’m proud of is crafting solutions for complex engineering problems.
Current Role
I’m currently a Software Engineer at CODE.ID, where I’m involved in various projects. The most notable is the development of Indonesia’s largest swap battery system for electric motorcycles, handling 80,000 active transactions per week.
